Storey villa with 1860
monuments
Built in 1860, the late neoclassical villa is one of the most valuable landmarks in Sopot. Its two-story structure is accentuated by a luxurious facade, featuring a central section adorned with an observation terrace and a stone balustrade. Directly below, two sandstone sculptures are placed in niches between pilasters on both sides of the elegant entrance doors. In the surrounding garden of the mansion, one can admire a fountain and mature specimens of lime trees, Californian incense cedar, maples, and arborvitae. From 1945 to 1954, the building served as the headquarters of the Higher School of Fine Arts.
