Manor Houses of the nineteenth century

monuments

In the mid-19th century, a trend emerged for the construction of summer mansions in the lower part of Sopot. Until then, this part of the city was mainly inhabited by fishermen. One of the interesting buildings from this period is the described mansion. The one-story building, covered with a gable ceramic roof with a projection (front part of the facade protruding above the roof), also has a spacious attic that has been adapted for residential purposes. Classical pediments adorn the shorter sides of the building. Characteristic for Sopot, verandas, both richly carved in the front and on the sides, were added to the mansion at the end of the 19th century.
