A 19th-century residential cottage

monuments

Built around 1853, at a time when Sopot developed into a larger settlement after the establishment of the bathing facility, this modest single-story building belonged to Dr. Benzier, who served as the chief physician of the Sopot spa from 1849 to 1897. From the outside, it appears as a low ground floor structure with a gable roof covered with Dutch tiles. On the front, there is a two-window shop window with a semicircular skylight at the top. A stone doorstep pillar, on which the date 1762 is engraved, testifies to earlier traditions associated with this building
