Memorial dedicated to soldiers of the Soviet Army is on the Olympic hill, the hill formerly known as bacilli. It was created in 1909 as a War Memorial, was to symbolize the victory of the Prussians over the French. On the pedestal of granite hits set 8 ton boulder, which fastened an eagle. On the front wall of basalt plinth placed plaques with the names of 63 Soviet soldiers buried in the cemetery at the monument, which lies in a total of 646 casualties. They were mostly dead in Sopot military hospitals where the wounded were brought primarily from Gdansk, Sopot gdyx in the Red Army suffered losses duxych.
