Chopin's head sculpture made Professor Stanislaw Horno-Poplawski, known in Polish sculptor living in Sopot. This is the last work of the professor, whose last wish was to donate the sculpture to the city. Plaster bust made a disciple of Professor Albert Zalewski.Chopin probably spent the holidays in Sopot 1827, invited by the son of Cajetan Sierakowski. Monument unveiled on July 14, 1998 year.
