The oldest cemetery in Sopot was founded in 1878 as a Protestant, occupies about 13 hectares of forest, rich in different species of trees. Cemetery chapel was then rebuilt and now serves as the parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.Many tombstones, especially in Germany, the boulders engraved with inscriptions. Others, particularly the newer, provide interesting sculptural works of art.
