The oldest cemetery in Sopot was founded in 1878 as a Protestant, occupies about 13 hectares of forest, rich in different species of trees. Cemetery chapel was then rebuilt and now serves as the parish church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.Many tombstones, especially in Germany, the boulders engraved with inscriptions. Others, particularly the newer, provide interesting sculptural works of art. At the cemetery are the graves: the chapel, the family Herbstów, Stanislawa writer Fleszerowej-Muskat, baddacza Kashubian dialects Frederick Lorenz, journalist, poet Eve Moskalówny, sculptor Adam Smalany, the first rector of the school Ernst Jahnke, tombstone famous architect Adolf Bielefeldta Sopot. symbolic place of remembrance and the German Army Aviators monument.
